omfg pictures from Japan.
This post is public so all my xanga friends can see it, too.
I guess I'll start with this one...this was the greatest thing ever. We were walking around this place being tourists (I don't remember the name of where we were, but it was someplace where shogun once resided or something...in...Kyoto I think), and these cute little japanese girls came up to Sam and started asking her questions in english. It was like, some school assignment or something. They were so adorable! And they needed to take a picture with her as proof or something, so I decided to get a picture too.
You should probably understand that like, every hotel we went to had these. They were placed on the side of the toilet...basically, you play with the settings and it will spray your ass with water to clean it. Uhm, yeah. You'll note that the water pressure is all the way down, because I was horribly scared that I would accidently set it off. I was too scared to try using this, but Billy said it felt interesting. Uhm........yes.
This is from Osaka castle. We were on the top level and overlooking Osaka...I decided to take a picture of this because it was pretty, and ended up getting a really nice reflection of the city.
zomfg the golden temple was amazing and really pretty. I had a hard time getting good pictures of it, since it was pretty...far away. But thanks to high quality zoom on my sister's camera, I did get a couple good shots of it.
Wooo, massive bonsai tree...
Random boy whom I lusted after...he actually lives in D.C., but he's kind of scared of me.
We were in a deer park in Narra, where the deer were all cute..they'd just sort of walk up to you an d sniff you for food. I eventually bought some random deer food to feed the deer...yeah, bad idea. Once you have food/are about to have food, they seriously ATTACK you. I was like, mauled by the deer. When I was purchasing the food, they started to run up to me and sniff me and bite my shirt and such, then once I had food things just got crazy. One of the deer bit my hip! Meghan god food for the deer, too...and one of them scratched her wrist with its hoof. Jeeeez. It's cool how cute, docile-seeming deer become...scary when you add food to the equation.
See, in this picture, it looks like the deer is being cute and friendly. In reality, it was rabidly trying to devour the food I had in my hand and I was scared for my life.
MASSIVE BUDDHA
A bunch of japanese schoolgirls in the deer park...they're all wearing cute little deer antlers, haha. I god a pair of deer antlers as well.
...Mr. Stanton decided to rock the deer antlers, too.
Ah, we went to this...park place, and it was so pretty. I got a few good shots here. Woo.
Some random shrine we went to...it was all..up in the mountains. The misty cloudy...ness made everything look really pretty.
Aw, some cute little japanese kid riding on top of a panda outside of a toystore...it was so cute. Some of my friends and I later decided to race the panda with a large dinosaur. The dinosaur won.
MASSIVE My Neighbor Totoro display inside of a toystore. Right next to this massive display, they had a smaller display of rubber boobs.
This was the gay Mikey. I made up a story in order to get a picture of him and hopefully start a conversation. Uhm, it didn't work out so well, but at least I got a picture.
Here's Meghan being all pretty in her kimono. NOTE THAT SHE IS HOLDING A STUFFED TURTLE. I love that turtle x1023. Its head is twice the size of its body!
We saw these people in Harajuku...there was a third guy, but he wasn't in the picture. The group was being followed around by people handing out flyers for the japanese band BLOOD. I've yet to figure out whether these people were cosplayers dressing as the members of BLOOD, or whether...they were actually the members of the band. Either way, they were cool and looked really annoyed when I took their picture....heh.
Here's Sam being a Harajuku girl. A bunch of asian people and american tourists randomly took pictures of her, so I decided to jump on the bandwagon.
A really cool girl we found in Harajuku. It's cool how she looks incredibly scary, but she was so cute and happy.
Aww, this girl was so cute and happy! And she was the first person to ask Sam for a picture in Harajuku, hah...she was all scared to ask for a picture. It was adorable. I wanted to put her in a box and take her home with me.
More girls from Harajuku. I have like, four or so other pictures of random people from Harajuku...since I know some of you are interested in japanese fashion, just say the word and I'll post the rest of the pictures.
A band that was playing at a wedding at a shrine we went to...I wasn't really interested in the wedding at all, but the band was really cool. And the priest reminded me of Sai from Hikaru no Go.
DRINK MR GRAPE SOFTDRINK!!11111one
Sean is a cool kid.
Group picture....from left to right, Billy (tall guy), Katie (girl in front of Billy), Kevin, Nesa, Jessica, Sam, me, Meghan, Mr. Stanton.
And that was my trip to Japan. Well, for the most part.
